Stumbled across this place for a quick eat before we went to the Louvre. We are glad that we stopped! This place offered salads, sandwiches and drinks. The manager was working and he was very accommodating to us English folk when our french didn't sound very good. We are pescatarians so we ordered a veggie sandwich and salad. They served the sandwich on a personalized cutting board which was a great touch. The veggie sandwich with eggplant, roasted red peppers, tomato, goat cheese and love. Seriously... YUM! We also got a nice romaine salad with veggies and a tasty Caesar dressing. It was so nice to have a quick meal at a good price with such nice service! They got really busy after we sat down and apologized for the wait which we have not experienced in Paris. I would definitely recommend a visit!!!!

We wandered the area near the Louvre, and wanted to try a local cafe. We found Chez Gabs quite by accident. What a fortunate find. Vincent recommended the Coteax Bourguignons ,Spanish sandwich and the Parisian sandwich. FANTASTIC way to spend an afternoon. If you can get here, you won't go wrong.
